Festival Events 2026
May 2026 – Trevor Brearley – Coast to Coast walk
Derbyshire Mark Mason Trevor Brearley starting 14th May and will be tackling one of William Wainwright’s 190 mile Coast to Coast routes for the 2035 Festival. Setting off from St. Bees in Cumbria, back packing around 15 miles every day. over a two week period he would appreciate any support brethren can give.
Training took in Burbage Edge and Fairbrook in the Peaks. Are you able to sponsor him 1p per mile? Perhaps sponsor yourself and walk with him for all or part part a day? Perhaps make call on your lodge or brethren’s generosity?

Jun-Jul 2026 FIFA World Cup 2026™
The FIFA World Cup starts 11 Jun with the final on Sunday 19 Jul 2026. Our events team are currently considering what and where we might have an event for the World Cup Final. When we know more we’ll let you know.
Aug 2026 – Cycling Hadrians Wall
Jeff Adamson, PM Scarsdale Mark, will be Cycling The 170 mile Hadrians Way with brethren from The Province of Yorkshire North and East Riding over the August Bank Holiday weekend and will be raising funds for the Festival. Watch this space for more news. Route Link
2027/2028 ?
In Early planning is a Trans Derbyshire cycling event for the 2035 Festival. One option is to ride between all the Mark Masonic Halls in Derbyshire! The Distances, Terrain and Road types involved are currently being considered. Are you Interested? Drop Jeff line here
Oct 2026 – First Full Marathon
David Wyatt is running his first full marathon – again more detail to follow
Other events being considered
Jim McCallion expressed a wish to attempt a three peaks challenge.
We are also considering a Full Festival Team Annual Dinner, with families included.
